In der LV geht es um die Grundlagen technischer Prinzipien für den Entwurf, die Modellierung und die Bewertung eingebetteter Betriebssysteme mit spezieller Betrachtung nicht-funktionaler Eigenschaften.

The lecture introduces the basic principles of design, modelling and evaluation of embedded operating systems with special focus on non-functional properties.

Goals

Students who have successfully finished this part of the module have an advanced knowledge of operating systems for embedded systems. They are aware of the specific design aspects like realtime behavior, energy consumption and schedulability and know of their interdependencies.
